Dietetics Counselling
Nutrition support focused on sustainable change within coordinated health programs

Dietetics Counselling Within Our Recovery Programs
Dietetics counselling is a core component of Kingdom Healthcare’s coordinated recovery programs, with nutrition playing a crucial role in supporting long-term health for both chronic disease and mental health.
Within Kingdom Healthcare programs, dietetic support focuses on practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies and menu support that aligns with individual health needs, capacity and lifestyle, supporting incremental and sustainable change rather than short-term dietary intervention.
We understand that when provided alongside our other program components, the impact of dietetics counselling can be maximised to improve overall program outcomes.
Specialised Dietetics Counselling Services
Our dietetics services are provided by a specialist mental health and counselling-trained dietitian, meaning we can go to the heart of lifestyle intervention, addressing underlying behaviours, not simply addressing physical factors.
We move past approaches simply focusing on nutrition knowledge and information and instead, work with a whole-person approach that engages our participants to make meaningful change.
We believe that understanding a whole person, their background and life journey is a crucial aspect of succesful care.
How Our Dietetics Counselling Is Integrated
Dietetics is delivered as part of a coordinated program, rather than a standalone service.
This integrated approach supports:
- Consideration of psychological and emotional factors impacting eating habits and nutrition choices
- Alignment of nutrition strategies with physical activity and movement goals
- Practical, realistic dietary changes and skill-building that fit within broader life and health contexts
Skills and knowledge founded in our dietetics counselling services are also built upon within our education and information sessions run during our recovery programs, covering important topics such as cooking and nutrition masterclasses to reduce overwhelm and burden with meal preparation, understanding the gut microbiome and its impact on mental and physical health.

Our participants tell us they love both the convenience and ease of their telehealth appointments.

Dietetics Counselling Working in Partnership with Referrers
Dietetics counselling care is delivered in collaboration with our referrers to ensure we maximise the effectiveness and long-term results of intervention for participants. We work together with our referrers on shared goals and provide regular updates on the outcome of initial assessments, program plans and progress along a participant’s journey in their recovery program.
Clear communication and feedback support shared goals, and clinical oversight for each of our participants.
